The Nerd, a dramatic comedy by Larry Shue, directed by Katy Lankester.
Set in small town, USA, it’s about Will Cubbert, an architect who lacks the gumption to take charge of his life. When a girlfriend takes a job in Washington DC, he is forced to decide between the women he loves and a job he hates. In walks Rick Steadman, the titular nerd, a man who saved Will’s life during the war, but soon becomes an unwelcomed annoyance. After possibly ruining Will’s career, this nerd will provide an opportunity for Will to show his friends that he has the ability to change.
